Hachiro Ramen Bar

Not a fan of the shoyu ramen.. could use different noodles, a more flavorful porc broth. The eggs didn't pair well or were just not that good.Not the worst but I wouldn't order a second bowl.

Amazingly tasty ramen and state of the art customer service. Fair prices, since I paid 15.90 for a ramen + egg. The space itself is very pleasing and well decorated. The best of all is that it is so close to my house, so I'll definitely come back.

Ramen in a hip setting with extensive bar list and craft beers. Broth is decent. Noodles are good, slightly thinner than some and a bit sobaesque.

DELICIOUS, great vibe, music is top notch, lighting on point, friendly knowledgeable staff Perfect date night spot or if you are just looking for some cocktails with friends. I am now a Ramen lover. The brilliantly crafted dishes tasted amazing and the atmosphere was refreshing. Love this place and will be back!

On this rainy day, I was craving for ramen and wanted to give Hachiro Ramen Bar a try. I ordered on Doordash and got delivered quickly, but unfortunately, one item was missing. I call the restaurant, and they kindly offer to provide the missing dish. Really professional! The food was fresh and delicious.

Not nearly as good as the ramen places we have in downtown Vancouver. Presentation is nice. Broth is salty but no depth in flavour.

I love the vegetarian spicy miso ramen. I used to go into Vancouver to get ramen since there were no local places I liked to eat. I haven't been back to those places since discovering Hachiro.

Hip Ramen joint on the shore! I was thrilled to hear about this place and was hoping it was good. We had the Spicy Shoyu one with egg and one without. I had Ramen a few days before at a very hip place downtown so I feel I can give a fair comparison as I had the same dish there. The Ramen at Hachiro is delicious and the flavor is quite unique. The service is quick and attentive. Really appreciate when the server stays on top of water at the table. It shows they care. They guys care about what they do and it is worth a visit. They have been open for about half a year and I am sure they will be popular.

Chicken karaage was amazing but the ramen wasn't as great. Got the spicy miso ramen and the broth was delicious. However, for the price, you can better ramen in Vancouver (jinya, marutama, motomachi... just to name a few). Just the ramen came to a bit over $18 including tax/tip. However, that being said, it is ramen and it's hard to have a bad ramen experience. Service was good. I enjoyed the aesthetics of the restaurant; they rest the chopsticks on little stones and I thought the bowls were lovely. I live in Vancouver and probably wouldn't make the drive again for the ramen, but would definitely stop by for chicken karaage if I'm in the area.

Great first step for North Shore ramen! Average pricing, nice thin noodles (even though I prefer thick), tasty broth. Was a little worried to not see any full Japanese people working... But it's expected in North Vancouver and the food surpassed expectation!

I love this place, I always make it a priority to come eat here when I'm in town. The ramen is good and the broths are super rich and delicious. You never leave feeling hungry, that's for sure. The chicken wings are also great. Service is very good and attentive even when it can get busy!

Very clean and high quality spot with good service. Nice outdoor seating, which we took advantage of. Tried a couple of the appetizers and they were my favourite part of the meal. The main course of ramen looked beautiful, and tasted okay, definitely not the most flavourful that I have had.

The ramen is yummy and ambiance of the place is modern, hip and cozy. I would consider it a higher end ramen restaurant, therefore pricing is a bit more than some places, but it makes sense for the location (North Van) and for the style they are going for.

Delicious food, very well served. Nice and cosy ambiance. Reasonably priced. Music could be a tad less loud to get the 6th star ... highly recommended.

Contemporary and fresh but respecting traditions: the food at Hachiro is so well made, the chicken was super tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, the gyoza is very delicate and tasty and the ramen dishes were amazing! The broth is light and full of flavour at the same time!The atmosphere is pleasant with a modern decor and staff is so attentive! 5/5 stars!

Hachiro is unlike the typical ramen places of Vancouver. The place has a great atmosphere, somewhat upscale yet relaxing at the same time. There is no rush, you could, and a patron did, sip a cocktail and work on his laptop. Aside from the chill atmosphere, the ramen was a notch above. The soup base was infused with flavour of bamboo shoots and taste of charcoal grill. It both flavourful and light. This will be one of the two ramen place for me. Glad to have Hachiro in North Van.

Love this place, the Spicy Miso Ramen Ramen is my favorite but I have to say everything that I have ordered while at this restaurant has been amazing. Staff are friendly and attentive and the Vibe is super Chill and awesome.

We had a excellent experience at the Hachiro Ramen Bar. The lobster tail in butter sauce was absolutely delicious (only served on weekends) The Vegetarian ramen & seaweed salad was good. The staff was kind and attentive. We will definitely be returning.

Great atmosphere, service, flavours and fresh ingredients! The menu is very creative and everything we tried was really good.

The decor and the service was good. We found the ramen to be too salty for our taste. But that’s just personal preference. The presentation was nicely done.
